And this year they seem to be strong, as much as to say that E3 2011 might be the Wii 2event. Features? Not a Word. It will be the successor of the first Wii logic, great console that brought to market a new way to understand the domestic game.
The reason for the new rumors is the increasing absence of involved developers, demonstrating an abandonment of the Nintendo platform. It seems clear that it is no longer a platform as attractive as it was in its infancy, and a renewal is required. A renovation in the style of the games? I don't believe it, because this is precisely one of the aspects that most like the blanquita of Nintendo, and the differentiating point regarding competition.

From my point of view there is a mandatory thing: improvement in graphics and maintenance of the theme of the games. Nintendo has been able to launch a console ready for anyone of any age, hilarious to play in Group and very different from the massive titles in this industry.
One of the major drawbacks that may have to launch Wii 2 this year is that it could remove role to Nintendo 3DS, the new laptop that is sweeping in the short time that leads in the market. Perhaps a presentation during E3 - which will take from 7 to 9 June - would be ideal, leaving the release of face to the upcoming Christmas or even already into 2012.
Wii 2 is a safe bet, a console that most probably good herederá part of the success of the first version and it will keep its essential. A Wii with better graphics? Let us hope that it goes beyond.
