Part of the new releases presented yesterday by Philips revolve around the 3D. The Netherlands has decided to bet strong on this technology, or at least match the challenge of trade marks as LG that have been put into circulation more simple 3D systems where it does not need to leave the payroll to buy four pairs of glasses.

With this in mind, the range 2011 televisions compatible with 3D Philips is separated in two large families. The first is called 3D Max and includes teams with stereoscopic glasses active, higher quality, but also more expensive system.

3D Max will be integrated in televisions Smart LED Ambilight 8000, 9000 series and the spectacular Cinema 21:9 Platinum. All of them are the integrated transmitter to connect them glasses Active 3D without limits and improved them the system of processing of movement. Now, the true Natural motion technology is capable of processing up to two billion pixels per second. Put Alternatively active and passive glasses, yes that it shows a better definition of the image with 3DMax system.

Whatever the impact 3D also depends very much on the depth of field, the company has provided teams with 3D Max the ability to manually adjust the depth of field to conform to our own liking.

Philips Easy 3D y 3D Max

The second range, which is new this year, is called Easy 3D and uses passive polarized glasses, more light, comfortable and cheap that the system 3DMax. The purist will find slightly lower image quality, but is an excellent alternative paar budgets limited or large families. Easy 3D will be available in the Smart LED Ambilight 7000 series and the new Cinema 21:9 Gold, a simpler version of the 21: 9 Platinum.

Philips has also joined the bandwagon of 2D to 3D conversion under their own software systems and the effect of which is comparable to those that we have already seen in other companies. It is not more to have it, especially with the lack of 3D content.

The second trick in the top hat of the Dutch House is really clever and has as its protagonists in video games. Philips has rescheduled their televisions 3D systems to make them capable of issuing two images simultaneously in full screen but at different angles. This bizarre trick serves for two participants in a multiplayer game to see their part of the game, full screen, and at the same time, instead of having to play split screen.

Although the system is compatible with Easy 3D and 3D Max, the latter gives better the effect that you can deliver different signals to each pair of glasses. In the 3D version, the image you see depends more on the position of each player. Obviously, the image you see each player with this system is not 3D, but continues to be a great idea to play in group to the console. In Barcelona we have been able to test the system and, although it is still a bit unstable, it works pretty well.

For the moment, double image seems reserved to video games, but who says that in a few years no can several people watching different programs to display complete on the same television. The only problem will be the sound, which will have to be through headphones.
