HP y Fossil trabajan en Metal Watch, un reloj que interconectará todos los dispositivos

One of the most important pillars of the strategy of HP in regards to their new aircraft, are cell phones, computers or tablets, is the interconnection between devices. They have already taught us demonstrations of what they are capable of making between them, but we did not expect to have a clock in the meantime gadget.

Out of webOS, nexus of the different elements, we find the so-called Metal watch, a clock still in prototype State but in the future held his large catalog of gadgets from HP.

Turning a little backwards in time, HP already showed us that they were playing with clocks, but also included the watchmaker Fossil in the project, providing just the part that HP needs to complete a unit of wristwatches.

A couple of days, the CTO of HP, phil mckinney, returned it to show at an event hosted by HP in Shanghai, informing its development began there by the year 2007, when Palm didn't have nothing to do with the computer giant. A video of that presentation (from the 25 minute):

For Phil the clock will be the focal point of the connected devices, showing the notifications and being able to perform actions directly from the same. Also to noted his constant Internet connection, we assume that to be twinned with a mobile phone of the American firm.

"The concept was that the watch would become the aggregation point for your connectivity, be the point that brings all your devices together rather than having each device operating independently."

This online sony ericsson takes time to work in its line of watches, and more recently with their peripheral devices Android, Sony Ericsson Live View. RIM has also made their first steps in this topic with the clock BlackBerry inPulse. Unlike LiveView, Metal Wath does not seem to have a touch screen.

HP not revealed any details about his departure to the market, presentation or specific features of the device, indeed presented it as a prototype in their early stages of development, so it will have to wait quite.
