Si HP vendería su división de portátiles...

It is rumored that market, hewlett-packard, largest manufacturer of portable would be considering selling the Division to another company with the capacity to assimilate the business, and it seems that the Korean Samsung would be the more interested in doing with it.

Besides Samsung, other major companies would be interested in the Division of portable: Lenovo and Hon Hai Precision, better known as Foxconn. Apparently the Koreans are one step ahead of the competitors to have a significantly higher economic power.

Although it seems an idea crazy by the leading position of HP, remember IBM sold its Division to Lenovo, and the reality is that not going bad in sales, the American company refocused its business and change not went wrong.

Samsung has an eye to any market of consumer electronics that benefits him, and when it is proposed, dominates it. In the case of laptops has ahead to some companies, and the acquisition of the Division of HP could put it in a better position.

The Korean company has recently begun to take seriously some niche markets in the world of laptops, we remind you that the new Series 9 represents an alternative for quality and performance (and price) to the macbook air from Applethat we might consider the "state of the art" or technology in the world of laptops.

Since the Samsung wanted to enter the business of laptops with more force, customers who provides components have shown reluctant in seeking more production, so the needs of growth of Samsung could pass by acquiring a company better positioned.

Other means such as Digitimes considered that the possibility of the sale from occurring is low. While the benefits in the last quarter were lower than expected, the business is profitable and stable, as well as continue to be leaders.

Regardless of what happens with the Division of notebook of Hewlett-Packard, the American company has a strategy full of changes, you can be summarised in the following points:

The intentions of HP them is making public its CEO Leo Apotheker, in the different events in which participates or organizes, wants to focus on the company to mobile devices, their interconnection, and the creation of software, without leaving aside logically one of their main business, computers.

HP incluirá webOS en cada PC Windows que lance en 2012

Another way in which it is working is the heir of the not yet commercialized TouchPad HP, HP wants that the next tablet is something more geared to the business market, and thus being able to eat a field which has been tentatively explored Apple, and it is that in the cake of the tablets remains much spread.
