PlayStation Move will come to the PC in the development, through move.me

Sony has announced on his official blog that is going to bring the tools of development of the peripheral Sony Move to the world of computers. In a move similar to what Microsoft is doing with Kinect, helping them to enhance the possibilities of its technology.

The initiative is part of a service that the electronics giant has decided to baptize as move.me, with which are intended to promote the development of applications which pull juice all PlayStation Eye Camera, PlayStation 3 and of course the Move controller.

Although you need above all to the invention, it is not necessary to count on the PlayStation 3 development kit, cheaper this way costs and bringing development to more people.

The reality is that the alternative development Kinect was getting before the Microsoft announced the publication of its development tools for Windows, is much more important and was wringing the possibilities of the peripheral, to a level that Sony Move was not getting.

The software of Move.me, according to Sony, is aimed at students and programmers who want to start to play with the system, investigate new interfaces and ultimately make their first steps with the technology. In fact what they want is to get out hidden talents which lead to Move to the next creative level, and step becomes more popular.

Move.me is available for download in the spring of 2011, as well as its competitor Microsoft. Incidentally they inform us that they are working on version 1.5 of PlayStation Home, with improvements in the integration of the multiplayer.
