Sony PS3

Alleluia! Welcome to the 21st century, Sony! It's about time. Sony has announced that saved of PlayStation 3 games can be stored in the cloud, on the servers of Sony. Years of waiting and rumours for a much-needed as logic improvement in the times in which 'The cloud' live in front of our House portal and is something as everyday as down to buy bread and take a snack.

But of course, not novelty we cheered before details. As it was also hoped this improvement only can be used by members of PlayStation Plus, which will have to checkout. There are also certain restrictions such as maximum size (up to 150 MB) and number of files (up to 1,000), but they seem high enough numbers so the vast majority of users do not have difficulties in this respect.

This novelty will come immediately to all members of PlayStation Plus and is implemented in the Update 3.60 to be released tomorrow Thursday 10 March. An interesting aspect is that the saves will be available for any console, if it is connected to the network and the user correctly identified.

The items stored in the cloud are not more than a security measure, a copy or backup so that in case of damage is the console not lose hundreds or thousands of hours of play. Do you like the idea? To me if, since then, although it was waiting for long time.
