The possible proximity to the presentation, in June, the iPhone 5 has uncovered the box of the rumors about what will be the future terminal of Apple or not. If you make just a few hours I talked of a patent to provide screen iPhone 5 with hybrid technology, now a new patent gives us more details, and is the next Apple Phone could incorporate touch within controls.

The new patent seems to indicate that the future display of the iPhone 5 could not be hybrid, but that in reality were dealing with two screens, one main, we assume that with technology Retina Display marks the House, and another secondary Electroluminescent which would occupy the context surrounding the main.

Obviously, this second touch screen would not be intended to remove space to the first, but to Show indicators light touch provided by information and additional controls without occupying space on the main screen.

There are several advantages of a screen of this type. To begin with would allow to show different controls depending on the context or the position of the phone. An area in which appears a specific button could show, for example, if we started a game or put the phone horizontally. This type of configuration with two screens combined not only apply to the iPhone, but also the iPod Touch or iPad, which would give more consistency to the recent rumour of an iPod touch main button.

The second advantage is that many of the controls could be based on the Electroluminescent screen, which would make it possible to save battery power for functions where the screen is not necessary.

As always, everything you say on the matter is not more than mere speculation until that Apple does not make its corresponding Keynote. Either way, it seems that the news about the new release of Apple are starting to pick up speed
