2011 could be the year of Spotify. Or better said, the building of multimedia streaming services.

If with the news that Spotify limited free accounts in a significant way the feeling overall era of downturn, the official announcement that this year will come to the US joins the rumor that with that jump to the American market could also start the adventure in video streaming service. And just the week that Netflix has been confirmed as the service star to access content in the us.

But not even the bells you launch flight because the rumor that advanced in TechCrunch, which gave to Spotify premium positioning in the video streaming market with even releases before other already consolidated services, has been quickly denied by the CEO of Spotifythat it has been described almost of insanity.

Turning to the streaming revolution, this week was known that Netflix has increased by 70% their share of the market to become neither more nor less than in the first provider of video in the U.S., with nearly 25 million customers.

And in the music section, Spotify just have this same year a rival of category: Apple. The company of Steve Jobs seems that it will not spend more time without offering streaming music, although it will not be free indefinitely, but that the iCloud, as it is rumored that he will call this service, will have a free trial period for later payment. And everything seems to indicate that it will be for after the summer when we see.
