The "bad idea" of Cisco to remove your business to Flip Video cameras, it seems that they not sold to another company because they still interested in technology, has left a beautiful corpse.

According to Pogue of the NYT, just the day after Cisco announced the end of the Flip Division, the company planned to announce a new product rather than interesting: the FlipLive. If true, everything is most strange if possible.

This "interruptus" videcámara closer to the common user video broadcast live. It would have only taken a wireless access point to connect the camcorder and the simplicity of earlier, begin to broadcast live models. To friends or acquaintances them could be warned via message on social networks or email with a direct link to the streaming. That said, a great loss.

A tiny camera in the size of a grain of salt

Little to say enough is enough. This it is the miniaturization, the logical step of the technology that makes in a minimum space we can have technology years ago imaginable. At this point comes the camcorder that we present today.

Its dimensions are a cube of 1 mm, comparing it with a grain of salt. As I always say, put that distance in your fingers and imagine how it would actually be. It's a project of the Fraunhofer Institute and its purpose is, how not, medical. Logically the resolution that captures is not equal to the more traditional, staying Chambers in 0.05 megapixels who offer a few pictures with little detail, but sufficient under certain circumstances.

With regard to the usefulness of this most in our homes there is no doubt that would be something entirely useless, at least for now. But the years will continue to be passing and those 0.05 megapixels today may become a few within a few years, making it an ideal and almost invisible camera for security methods, for example. Now we will not surprise if we see the next time we go to the doctor.
