If you have not heard of "the cloud" to be sure that you're a little lost. We refer to it as the online place to store all kinds of files. Iomega, with his next external hard drive, is proposing that we we that build us our own cloud for personal files.

The Iomega home Media network hard Drive (Cloud Edition) has its strength in the possibility of connecting the Iomega network storage device to other individuals and/or devices over the Internet. This technology of Iomega leaves the cloud property of the user, always under his control and without fees or subscription charges. It basically provides access to it from other computers or mobile phones.

This hard drive model Cloud Edition external can be purchased by 140, 180 and 290 EUR according to want 1, 2 or 3 TB respectively.

Iomega has revamped its line of hard drives for desktop with the Prestige Desktop Hard Drive 3.0series, as evidence has the USB 3.0 connection your main claim (in the same line as the of Pocket already discussed). It is devices with a stylish design in polished black but who has looked his metal construction to make them resistant and robust.

In addition to the above-mentioned main feature with the new interface 3.0 (up to 5 3Gbits/s, which is up to 10 times faster than USB 2.0), including the pack of Iomega Protection Suite with antivirus software and backup software, as well as by 256-bit AES hardware encryption.

This renewed Prestige series of Iomega is a solution affordable, with prices restrained in their three available capacities: 1TB (89,90 EUR), 2 TB (129,90 EUR) and 3TB (209,90 EUR). What we must add the posibilidiad of 3-year limited warranty (registered product). Your speed with the 3.0 is something far compared with the recent Thumberbolt that Lacie is going to captain, but for the benefits offered and the price it is postulated as a competition, rather than interesting for those who do not need a special transfer speed.
