apple tv 2

The recent launch by Apple of the new version 4.3 of its iOS was highly anticipated, although it seems that not everything has been an improvement. At least in regards to the Second generation Apple TV, because that seemed to detect flicker on the screen in some models of high definition televisions (for now detected in several brands like Sony, Panasonic, Hitachi, Samsung and Toshiba).

This detected incidence occurs in configurations with adapters HDMI to DVI, and HDMI connection when the image blinks, produces an interruption of the image. But, it seems that there have even been cases without the use of the adapter.

However, it must also comment that in most of cases you have to settle. That Yes, in a particular way and doing something as simple as a reboot of the Apple TV, changing the configuration of HDMI output or even simply by changing the resolution of the TV (as it occurs in those with 1080i, turning to 720i and 720 p disappeared annoyed flicker of the image).

It seems that Apple does not give the key with the Apple TV it is not the first time that its users are affected by any incident when an update. The official forums of the Apple brand have been intense complaints and comments, but also possible solutions. Let us hope that Apple takes care a little better buyers of Apple TV in your upcoming updates.

Can you imagine that we now have remotes like the image? It's a patent in 1976, date on which televisions began to reach households. 35 years have passed since then and I believe that we cannot say that evolution has been for the worse.

Logically they are many years and everything has changed, I would say that almost altogether. In certain disciplines, such as computing, are still used the same underpinnings, but the end product is very different. We also have new technologies such as mobile phones or the WWW, touch screens or digital information.

Then I leave the image of the patent, with details such as the ends of the "baton". It seems peculiar and very strange, right? I can't imagine using one of these, everything has to be said

On the basis of this curious picture what you think that it has been the most innovative technology in the past 35 years? and what will be the newest of the future?

Nokia E6-00

We had hoped for the Mobile World Congress, but Nokia had more interest in clarifying the reasons and intentions of the Alliance with Microsoft, when what the people want are good phones, which come accompanied by a consistent operating system, and any specification to call attention.

Nokia E6-00 might not be the Savior of the situation, even to some may seem a discreet or overused because of its phone, but it is a novelty that can be very attractive in the face to the market: under the same QWERTY keyboard and touch screen.

When we first met for the first time, the phone was switched off and the source of the news did not give details about the possibility, we now see on and we can confirm that it will be a new phone with Symbian ^ 3.

We can see some changes in the system, such as the presence of four desktops, and a redesign of the interface elements, logically the resolution and proportions is different to what we have in other phones Symbian ^ 3.

Nokia E6

Known by now specifications are few, refers to an 8 megapixel camera (without auto-focus) with dual LED flash, and a screen resolution of 640 x 480 pixels for each alleged 2.6 inch. With these numbers would be a density of pixels of 307.69 PPI, which I consider to be quite high (almost 330PPI in an iPhone 4), we hope that Nokia so enlighten us soon.

Bet on the layout of a conventional BlackBerry phones seems successful, sales figures speak of interest of the public at large about them, and indeed the own Samsung has already ready a terminal AndroidGalaxy Pro, with these characteristics.

I leave you with a comparative image with their predecessors in the series and, do opinions?:

The year of iPad 2? Or perhaps Honeycomb? Image of the week

Tablets avatar WhisKiTo on March 6, 2011 | 17: 59 To vote this post connect with Facebook Connect

2011 year of iPad 2

This week we have experienced the launch of the iPad 2, the new tablet from Apple, to tell the truth, not has meant a complete revolution, if not rather a set of small improvements to maintain the hegemony that the first model has had over the past months in the world of the tablets.

But this year will be different. iPad 2 will compete with Android Honeycomb, and more specifically with gadgets like Motorola Xoom, Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, MSI Windpad 100A, LG Optimus Pad or others that will come in the next few months. The competition this year will be tough and Apple will have difficulties to maintain the same numbers as other years. Or not?

iPad 2 still has the same characteristics as the first model: a device very fast, very efficient, easy to use and, above all, with a little Apple drawn on the back, something that in recent years is very fashionable. Call marketing, or as you want, but that is the reality. The iPad 2 aims to be the tablet of the 2011, happening the success of the first iPad.

Motorola Xoom

But that does not mean that other interesting tablets there are. android 3 honeycomb was presented at CES as a revolution in the Google system but focused on their use in tablets. An interface fully renovated, very different and ready for use in gadgets of big screens, and not on Pocket telephones. If the system we put interesting devices as any of the tablets presented in MWC 2011 both CES 2011, the experience that will bring the user will be excellent.

2011 will be the year of the second generation of tablets, a year where Apple has been that competition is ready to deal with at the gates of Cupertino, at least on devices. The prices of the Honeycomb tablets does not appear that they can actually compete with iPad 2, which can be a great burden for Google's system. In about nine or ten months we will draw conclusions on this particular - and very interesting - war.

Blackberry Playbook

And no, we don't forget the other tablets: Blackberry PlayBook and HP TouchPad are very interesting, but minority and uncertain. We are them not to lose sight, of course.
