Day of leaks in the family of phones in the Canadian RIM, this rate will leave very little to show for the blackberry world event to be held in Orlando next month. This morning I showed them the look of the BlackBerry Bold Touch, and now it is the turn of the renewal of the BlackBerry Torch, by now known by the same name, but with the name "2".

Innovations come clearly to solve the shortcomings detected in the first Torch, such as the lack of power to rule a more complex system adapted to the screen difficult, this time it will be improved with a 1.2GHz processor.

As you can see, the phone is physically the same, both in design as in dimensions, fortunately internally more news: in the same 3.2 inch pass resolution HVGA (480 × 360 pixels) to a much more appropriate VGA (640 × 480 pixels).

A new feature on all new BlackBerry, is the incorporation of the digital compass for a more complete geolocation, it will come in addition, applications based on augmented reality.

Another great novelty logically through the use of version 6.1 of the BlackBerry OS. The rest of the specifications we think will be those found in the first model, and we hope that they also dare to support NFC, which it says nothing at the source of the news.

BlackBerry Bold Touch, are the first pictures and impressions

Mobile Kote on April 8, 2011 | 11: 42 To vote this post connect with Facebook Connect

A few days ago were broadcast by the network a few tutorials that taught us how worked the touch interface of the new blackberry bold touch (also known as Dakota/Montana/9930), first handset to the RIM in combining the QWERTY keyboard of a Bold family, with touch screen.

But what we could see in the videos were firing recreations, and never the real terminal, that has appeared today in images, accompanied by first impressions we used to get an idea of the new features that come with this renewal:

Advance us on the touch screen has very good response, an important detail taking into account that we have a screen of 2.8 inches. Highlight a fairly high resolution for its size, 640 × 480 pixels. The possibility of creating WiFi access points in BlackBerry OS 6.1:

The keyboard is presented with the good characteristics that they guarantee in previous models, functional and spacious, while the quality of construction of the equipment is very good, as it is to be expected in the family Bold.Su released globally could be between the months of June and July. Apparently the battery is different to what RIM we are accustomed (possibly to support the arrival of a touch screen), do not give more details on it. As you can see in the image below (along with iPhone 4), the thickness seems to be quite achieved:

Previous leaks again bring out the new specifications, highlighting a new 1.2GHz processor, 768 MB of RAM, 8 GB of internal memory (expandable via microSD), 5 megapixel camera with video recording in high definition, and support NFC.

I do not think that there are many more leaks from here that it is presented, we believe that it will officially appear before the media in the next blackberry world, at the beginning of May.

Do enough news to draw the attention of those who are marching to iOS and Android?, my envelope paper seem it, but before further conclusions, I would like to see as much as can be the experience of use of BlackBerry OS 6.1. Go perhaps being the time that QNX goal hand in the system of Canadian Smartphones.

Update, the new BlackBerry Torch 2 also gives the face.
